Researchers from Konkuk University in South Korea investigated the antioxidant and protective effects of Lindera glauca stem (LGS) extracts against oxidative stress. The results of their study were published in the Journal of Medicinal Food.
Based on these results, the researchers concluded that the ethanol extract of L. glauca can protect cells against oxidative stress, thanks to its polyphenol and flavanoid content.
