It’s very easy to cultivate aloe vera indoors since this plant doesn’t require a whole garden to grow. Plant some aloe vera in a pot, then keep it in an area with indirect sunlight. You can also use aloe vera plant as natural decor for kitchen counters or end tables, as long as you place it in a spot with enough sunlight that won’t directly hit its leaves. The plant doesn’t require constant watering and it can thrive without constant maintenance.
Gather the gel from organic aloe vera to avoid chemicals from pesticides that may harm your skin. To extract aloe vera gel, gently pluck a leaf from the plant. Gardening gloves are optional, but you can wear a pair to avoid the plant’s thorns. Using a sharp knife, slice the aloe leaf open. Use a spoon to scrape out the gel from the leaf, then store it in a bowl if you’re adding other ingredients, like rose water.
