A study published in The American Journal of Chinese Medicine examined the antidiabetic effect of the root of Korean angelica (Angelica gigas) in mice. The study was carried out by researchers from Chonbuk National University Medical School in South Korea.
In sum, these findings suggested that Korean angelica root extract can potentially lower blood glucose level and improve hepatic steatosis in people with Type 2 diabetes.
